Visily AI For UI Design

Let me start by saying that Visily AI is a breath of fresh air in the design world. The interface is so thoughtfully crafted that it’s both visually appealing and super easy to use. It’s perfect for those who might find other tools like Figma a bit daunting. With Visily AI, there’s practically no learning curve—within an hour, you’ll be ready to start designing!

In my video, I decided to test Visily AI by designing an app from scratch. And guess what? The AI features in this tool are amazing! Here’s a quick rundown of what I loved:

• Screenshot to Design: Upload a screenshot, and Visily AI will create a design with all the elements you need. So cool!

• Text to Diagram: Just describe what you need, and the AI will generate diagrams or user flowcharts. Super handy!

• Text to Design: Input your ideas, and watch as the AI generates screens tailored to your needs.

• Theme Generator: Whether you’re inspired by an existing website or an image, or you want to create something from scratch, Visily AI helps you craft the perfect theme.

• Magic Image: Need images that fit your design? This tool will find them for you in no time.

What really stood out to me was the Color Assistant—it’s a game changer for ensuring your design is accessible and follows web standards. Plus, there’s even a feature to convert a sketch into a design (and a sneak peek at an upcoming content generation feature)!

I decided to create a home automation app using these features, and the process was surprisingly smooth. The AI-generated diagrams and designs were a great starting point, and editing them was a breeze. The contextual menu bar made it easy to customize elements, and while there are some limitations, the overall experience was pretty seamless.

Of course, no tool is perfect. Visily AI does have a few areas where it could improve, like the lack of auto layout and padding options. But honestly, these are small trade-offs considering how intuitive and easy-to-use the platform is.

In my design process, I tried out features like the Wireframe Tab, which was super helpful for adding elements like sliders and switches. The smart components, with their customizable controls, were another highlight—they made it easy to create interactive elements without much effort.

One feature that didn't work perfectly for me was the Sketch to Design and Screenshot to Design. While they’re innovative ideas, there’s still some room for improvement. But I’m confident Visily AI will refine these tools in future updates.

The Theme Generator was another standout. You can extract themes from websites or images, or even generate them based on keywords. It’s a fantastic way to ensure your app has a cohesive look and feel.

Finally, if you’re a Figma fan, you’ll be happy to know that Visily AI offers a simple export option. You can even convert your designs to Figma, keeping the structure and settings intact. It’s a great way to merge the strengths of both platforms.

All in all, Visily AI is a fantastic tool, especially for beginners or those looking for an easier, more intuitive alternative to other design tools. I highly recommend giving it a try!
