So my wife asked me to build a Marketing Platform because they are expensive… So i figured out a way to make it completely free!
I ended up with a platform for managing clients, campaigns, content calendars, strategies, and results. She can use it in a browser, and AI can help her work through it.
But here’s what I wanted to solve: building an app with AI is getting easier. Running it can still mean hosting, a database, API costs, and updates.
So i built this one around a local folder that can be shared with a team.
The app runs locally, and its data is saved in one folder. No hosting plan, database service, or AI API to pay for. When she opens the project in Codex, AI can work with the app too.
Since this app works directly with AI, she can set up keywords to perform certain tasks. My first setup was when she says “hi” AI would give her a quick look at what’s overdue, due today, and coming up. She can also ask AI to add a client, help assess a campaign, or work from the content calendar. And when she finds something missing, she can ask AI to add that feature as her workflow evolves.
She can even set automations for AI to run recurring task all on its own inside the codex app.

The guide also explains how to involve a team. A shared workspace and separate GitHub copies work differently, so choose the setup that fits how your team shares data.
